Human Rights

Human rights are moral principles for standards of individual human behaviour supposedly protected by municipal and international law.  They are personally interpreted as our inalienable, fundamental rights, to which a person is inherently entitled because SHE or HE is a human being which is inherent in all human beings, regardless of one’s age, ethnicity, location, language, spiritual beliefs or any other status.

They are universal and egalitarian and applicable to every person everywhere.  Requiring empathy and the rule of law to ensure an individual does not infringe on the rights of another.  Our human rights are God-given encompassing numerous rights:

  • The right to a fair trial

  • Protection against enslavement

  • Prohibition of genocide

  • Free speech

  • Right to education

Genocide

Genocide is the intentional destruction of people in whole or in part—acts committed to destroying national, ethnic, racial or religious groups.

These five Acts:

  • Killing members of a group

  • Causing severe mental or bodily harm

  • Imposing living conditions with the intent to destroy the group

  • Preventing births

  • The forcible removal of children

  • Victims are targeted because of actual or perceived membership in a group

  • Nothing is random but rather targeted

Genocide is an intentional, coordinated action plan to destroy life’s essential foundations.  The objectives are the disintegration of political and social institutions such as:

  • Culture

  • Freedom of speech

  • Language

  • National feelings

  • Religion

  • Economic existence

  • Personal security

  • Liberty

  • Health

  • Dignity

  • Individual lives

History of Human Rights

The belief in Human rights has existed from the beginning of Creation.  The predecessor of natural rights appeared as medieval natural law.  Heavily influenced by God’s words written through Paul in Scripture.  Augustine examined and defined the boundaries of the natural law and rights-based upon God-ordained personal wisdom and conscience.  He refused to impose an obligation to obey unjust laws.

Various historical documents on Human rights arose:

  • Magna Carta 1215

  • English bill of rights 1689

  • Scottish claim of rights 1689

  • United States Constitution 1789

  • United States Bill of Rights 1791

John Locke, the 17th-century English philosopher, addressed natural rights as “life, liberty and prosperity.”  Stating that these fundamental rights shall not be surrendered to the Government.  The English Bill of Rights and the Scottish Claim of Rights declared a wide range of Government actions ILLEGAL.

Two major revolutions occurred during the 18th century.  The United States 1776 and France 1789, resulting in the United States Declaration of Independence and the French Declaration of the Rights of Man, both articulating Human rights.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

“I am almighty God; I compel you, my people, to stand fast in the FREEDOM Jesus Christ has won for you.  Do not allow yourselves to be enslaved in bondage.  Some seek to throw you into confusion.  They shall pay the penalty for their provocation.  Remember, my law is summed up in my single command.  Love your neighbour as yourself; love does no harm to another.  If you continue to bite and devour one another; you will destroy each other.  Peter and John, when confronted by the authority’s commands and threats, replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God.”  Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrong; there is no favoritism.”

God, through his words in scripture, and those throughout history, continue to remind me and each one of you across the globe that he has CREATED each individual person for his specific purpose on this earth.  Therefore, we are responsible before God to submit to his authority in our personal life and NOT the Government when those in power violate our FREEDOM.

    HOWDY SALLY WELL AGAIN YOU WRIT A GREAT INFORATIVE TRUE WORDS RFOM GOD THAT EACH MAN AND WOMEN IS INTITLED TO AS WE KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE BILLONS OF PEOPLE WHO REJECT JESUS CHRIS AS THERE SAVIOUR THERE FOR THEY WILL STAND AGAIST CHRIST AND NOT THE EVIL GOVERMENTS

    The history backing this article is so profound – it really gives perspective to the fight we are finding ourselves in today’s age. This isn’t a new problem – we’ve just become comfortable submitting to a ruling body that is moving further away from the fundamental beliefs of the Bible and altogether eliminating them.
