...OUR NATURAL IMMUNITY

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.  God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.”

Genesis 1:27 & 31

Immune System Definition:

The Immune System is a complex network of cells, tissues, organs, and substances they produce that enable our body to fight infection, chemical toxins and diseases.  The immune system includes white blood cells, organs, and tissues of the lymph system, such as the thymus, spleen, tonsils, lymph nodes, lymph vessels, and bone marrow.

Natural Immune System

The natural Immune System is God’s created first responder to a body invader.  The most crucial player in our Immune System is the white blood cells.  They patrol the blood and tissues throughout the body in search of intruders.  When they detect a foreign substance, they send signals and launch an immune attack.  They are God’s internal warriors protecting us from bodily harm.

The two types of Immune Systems are Innate and Adaptive:

The Innate Immune System

The innate immune system fights against foreign bodies, injuries and pathogens through bacteria-killing substances.  This system protects the skin’s outside and the inside of all mucous membranes.  It is the first responder within the tissue through scavenger cells seeking out invaders.  The Innate is the body’s first line of defence against the entrance of germs and all foreign substances.  It acts quickly.  It detects and destroys bacteria entering the body through a small wound on the spot within a few hours.

The Innate Immune system activates immune system cells and proteins when germs penetrate past the skin and mucous membranes.  Scavenger cells stop bacteria and viruses immediately.  These warrior-like cells enclose the germ and digest and destroy them.  During an immune response, the germs and healthy cells die, and their remains are excreted through a yellow fluid called pus.  As in Armies going to battle on the battlefield, some soldiers lose their lives to save others.

The Role of Proteins

Nine different proteins (enzymes) activate in a chain reaction, escalating the immune system’s response quickly.

The tasks of these Enzymes:

  • Marking germs as targets for scavenger cells

  • Attracting other immune system cells from the bloodstream

  • Destroying the bacteria cell walls to kill them

  • Fighting viruses by destroying the viral envelope (the outer layer of the virus) within the infected cells

Natural Killer Cells

These cells specialize in identifying cells infected by viruses or tumours.  They search out cell changes in their surface, then destroy the cell surface using cell toxins.

The Adaptive Immune System

The Adaptive Immune System is God’s line of defence against specific pathogens, chemicals or changed body cells.  This is carried out by defence cells called B lymphocytes, which create antibodies in the affected tissues called T lymphocytes.  The Adaptive Immune System fights germs directly.  It takes over when the Innate Immune System is unable to destroy germs.  It targets the type of germ causing the infection.  It first needs to identify the germ.  It takes its time to respond to ensure accuracy.  It can REMEMBER germs for future reference and faster response.  This memory is why some illness occurs only once, as your body is now immune.

The Adaptive Immune System is made up of:

  • T lymphocytes are the tissue between the cells

  • B lymphocytes are also found in the tissue between cells

  • Antibodies are located in the blood and body fluids

T Lymphocytes

T lymphocytes are produced in the bone marrow and then move to the thymus through the blood.  These T cells have three main jobs:

  • They use chemical messengers to activate other immune system cells

  • They detect cells infected and destroy these cytotoxic T cells.

  • Some become MEMORY T cells after the infection is destroyed.  They REMEMBER which germs were defeated and are ready to activate IMMUNITY if the same infection seeks entry.

These T cells can attach to germs, producing a matching T cell for each germ in an infection occurring within days.  If a germ attaches itself to a matching T cell, it starts to multiply, creating more T cells specifically for that germ.  Only cells that match the germ multiply, which customizes the immune response needed to overpower and destroy the specific germ.

B Lymphocytes

B Lymphocytes (B cells) are made in the bone marrow.  They mature to become special immune system cells.

The T helpers activate the B cells:

  • T helper cells contact B cells that match the same germs

  • This triggers the B cells to multiply into plasma

  • Plasma cells quickly produce large quantities of antibodies and release them into the blood.  Only the B cells that match the attacking germs are activated, and exact antibodies are produced.

  • These activated B cells become memory cells and are a part of the memory of the adaptive immune system.

Various cells of the Adaptive Immune System communicate directly or via chemical messengers called Cytokines (small proteins).

Antibodies

Antibodies are composed of protein and sugar that circulate in the bloodstream.  The immune system creates them to fight off germs and foreign substances.  They are the warriors that quickly detect the enemy’s germ or potentially harmful substances and attack them.  This renders the germ harmless and ineffective and attracts other immune system warrior cells to help.  The intruders that provoke the creation of antibodies are called ANTIGENS.

An antibody only attaches to an antigen it matches.  This is how antibodies detect matching germs, which initiates a fast response from the Adaptive Immune system.

Antibodies have three main functions:

  • They neutralize germs by attaching to the cell surface or linking to their toxins.  This prevents germs from latching onto regular healthy cells and infecting them.

  • They activate other immune systems by attaching to their surfaces.

  • Scavenger cells are better able to fight off germs that are loaded with antibodies.

  • They activate proteins that help in the immune system response.

  • The antibodies of the Adaptive Immune System support the Innate Immune System.

“I, Almighty GOD, created your INNER MOST being; I knit you together in your Mother’s womb.  Your body was not hidden from me in that secret place where I wove you together.  My eyes saw your unformed body, and I decided your number of days to live on this earth.  You are precious to me.  You are fearfully and wonderfully made by ME, your CREATOR.”

Psalm 139:1-18

THE CONTRAST OF LONG-TERM PHARMACEUTICAL MEDICATION

Pharmaceutical chemicals can lead to a dysregulated Immune System.  This creates a weakened immune response.  Immune suppression from prescription chemicals can go undetected until symptoms of low immunity, such as increased infection, begin to surface.  Glucocorticoids suppress cell immunity by suppressing the response of our natural DNA.  A deliberate chemical-induced TOXIC AGENT can cause autoimmune diseases in which healthy tissue is attacked by an immune system that fails to differentiate healthy cells from foreign invasion.  Our bodies are literally attacking themselves as a result of these pharmaceutical chemicals designed to break down and destroy our internal God-given army designed to keep our bodies safe and healthy within this world of infection, disease and harm.  Once the immune system is destroyed, our bodies become dependent/addicted to the chemicals.

HEAR GOD’S VOICE:

“Don’t you know that YOU yourselves are my temple and that my spirit lives within you?  If anyone destroys my temple, YOUR BODY, you will suffer the destruction of your choices.  You are not your own; you are MINE.  Your BODY is a GIFT from me to live in on this earth.  Therefore, honour me, your CREATOR, with your BODY.”

I Corinthians 3:16; 6:18-20

As in the time of war, armies are delegated according to rank and expertise.  They are then called upon to facilitate their individual specialization when dealing with the enemy in implementing all TACTICS to defeat the intruder.

Such is the miraculous God-given IMMUNE SYSTEM within each individual person God chose to create.  God designed our Immune System to declare war on all fronts with the enemy of germs, toxins, chemicals and all other invaders.

MY CONCLUSION:

I challenge all who choose to read and hear God’s personal reminder.  Your body is God’s masterpiece creation, and he has ensured that each of us is FULLY PROTECTED.  I compel each and every one of us to choose to take care of our bodies and say NO to all PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMICAL invaders.
