“Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment, heaven opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased.”
Matthew 3:13-17
I was baptized in the North Saskatchewan River in Alberta, Canada, on August 28, 2022. Here is my Testimony.
Good evening; my name is Sally Darlene Cooper. I am presently a professional Nanny for two school-age children. I asked God to take me to a special place in nature so he could write his testimony of me, his daughter. He led me high above the mighty Athabasca River, above the tree line surrounded by the northern Alberta Rocky Mountains.
I was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. At the age of 3 years, my Father chose to commit suicide. Removed from my Mother to an orphanage and from there to a foster home, the repetitive rejection and abuse began.
On November 26, 1981, I asked Jesus Christ to be my saviour. I became God’s eternally secure daughter.
God blessed me with five children, three sons and two daughters, whom I taught his truth and homeschooled.
God has led me worldwide throughout my life, living and speaking his truth to people daily.
God’s chosen ministry through me is writing. I have written numerous business articles, am a published author, and am a webpage/blogger at Cooper Script.ca, where God speaks his truth to the world.
Today, I have accepted God’s invitation to river baptism, as Jesus did at the Jordan River. On this special occasion, my heavenly Father rejoices over me and assures me He is well pleased. Thank you.
As I ascended into the river’s COLD WATERS, my first comment was…”The river Jordan was warmer than THIS!”
