VALUES

Values are standards and principles that guide our behaviour and decisions.  They represent what is necessary, worthwhile and desirable.  Justice, equality, freedom, fairness, honesty, integrity, compassion, and responsibility are trademarks of sound values.

One’s values are a guidepost for individual interpretations, actions and choices, influencing personal outlook on life.

Values are concepts which unite people as a whole.  They can be societal, cultural, individual and are intended to remain unbroken.  Personal character grounded in such values contributes to healthy boundaries within relationships and general interaction with people.

IN STARK COMPARISON

“Values: Building a better world for all”…written by Mark Carney

Mark Carney’s words:

Western society is morally rotten, and it has been corrupted by capitalism.  This requires rigid controls of personal freedoms, industry and corporate funding.  This is not a promise to improve ordinary people’s lives, but temporarily worse.  It will be a world of severely constrained choices, less flying, less meat, more inconvenience and poverty.  Assets will be stranded, gasoline cars will be unsellable, and inefficient properties will be deemed un-rentable.

National Post Quote:

In his book Values: Building a Better World for All, Mark Carney, former governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, states that Western society is morally rotten and has been corrupted by capitalism, bringing about a “climate emergency” that threatens life on earth.  This requires rigid controls on personal freedom, industry and corporate funding.

Carney seeks to facilitate, within his window of opportunity, the regulation of climate change within the framework of a fair, diverse, and more woke world; gleaning his inspiration and motivation from Marx, Engels and Lenin.

” I am Almighty God.  Among you, my people are wicked men who lie in wait to set traps and ensnare.  Their evil deeds have no limit; they do not plead your case or defend your rights.  Should I not punish them for this?  Should I not avenge myself on such a people as this?

Jeremiah 5: 26-29

Conclusion:

As we ponder the meaning of values and their intended welfare and protection personally, and throughout all societies across the earth, may we be forewarned of this impending breach and allow God to direct us individually in keeping our strong chain of values from being severed.
