What are LEDs?
LEDs are light-emitting diodes (LEDs), electrical light sources that emit light through a flowing current. They contain lead, arsenic, and other hazardous substances.
Until the 1990s, LEDs were available only in red, green, or yellow. They were the indicator lights seen on alarm clocks and remote controls. Now, LEDs are replacing incandescent, halogen, and regular light bulbs. The first blue LED was created by combining a material emitting protons within extended wavelengths, creating an intense white light.
Natural Sunlight
The colours red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet are the natural colours of sunlight. Combined, these colours become the natural beneficial white light we see.
Red rays have longer wavelengths and less energy, while blue rays have shorter wavelengths and more energy. White light with a significant blue component exposes the eye to a greater number of wavelengths.
Though sunlight is the primary source of blue light, in its natural form, blue light is balanced by the other spectrum colours, which counterbalances the effects of blue light rays. Beneficial infrared is ever-present in sunlight, making up 43% of radiation energy. The sun’s blue light is never solitary and, therefore, harmless.
The high-intensity blue-white light from LEDs has no accompanying beneficial radiation compensation, as does natural sunlight.
Natural sunlight is the healthiest light source and produces vitamin D in the skin. However, people spend less time outside in the sunlight, missing out on these health benefits. Chemical sunscreen, on the other hand, poisons the body and blocks healthy sunlight nutrients.
LEDs…The Silent Killers
Caution: Though pain is absent, white or blue LEDs can permanently damage your eye.
This harmful LED light is emitted through smartphones, tablets, computers, TV screens, and e-readers.
LED lighting is one of the most detrimental EMF radiation sources we are exposed to daily, causing long-term consequences.
The effects of the blue-white light screen before sleep:
A reminder that your phone, computer or television emits blue-white lighting. This type of light suppresses the pineal glands’ melatonin production, which initiates sleep and sleep cycles.
The cells in your eye’s retina are responsible for producing melatonin, which regenerates the retina while you sleep.
Viewing LED lighting at night reduces the regeneration of the retina due to lack of proper sleep, leading to eye degeneration and possible blindness.
Other effects of LED exposure can result in depression, diabetes, and hypertension.
“I am Almighty god. I created lights in the sky to give light to the earth. I made two great lights- the SUN to govern the day and the lesser light, the MOON, to govern the night. I also made the STARS. I set these three lights in the expanse of the sky to give light to govern the day and the night, separate the day from the night, and separate light from darkness. And I GOD saw that it was GOOD.”
Genesis 1: 14 -19
Conclusion:
God created the natural light of the Sun, Moon, and Stars. Neither of these forms of light is detrimental to our bodies in any way. May we heed God’s warning of the injurious damage of artificial man-made lighting and its dangerous components. Let us take care to limit or altogether avoid their harmful effects.
