GREEK MYTHOLOGY

Greek mythology is a collection of ancient Rome and Greece myths and folklore.

These stories concern the ancient Greek and Roman religious views of the world’s origin through various gods, heroes, and mythological creatures, as well as the ancient Greek cult and ritual practices.

 

THE TWELVE OLYMPIAN GODS OF GREEK MYTHOLOGY

 

ZEUS: King of the gods, over weather, law, and fate.

HERA:  Queen of the gods over women and marriage.

APHRODITE:  Goddess of beauty and love.

APOLLO:  God of music, prophesy, poetry, and knowledge.

ARES:  God of war.

ARTEMIS:  Goddess of hunting, animals, and childbirth.

ATHENA:  Goddess of wisdom and virtue.

DEMETER: Goddess of agriculture and grain.

DIONYSUS: God of wine, pleasure, and festivity.

HEPHAESTUS:  God of fire, metalworking, and sculpture.

HERMES:  God of travel, hospitality, trade, and Zeuse personal manager.

POSEIDON:  God of the sea.

In Greek mythology, in relation to astronomy, Astraeus is the creator of the stars.  The Greeks are credited with the origin of star constellations and the first to give them names of their gods.  The Greek astronomer Ptolemy created the list of 48 constellations.

THE GREEK CREATION STORY

This story is a complex tale of the origin of the stars and the gods:

“The world began as a formless, empty void called CHAOS.  GAIA, the earth, emerged from this CHAOS.  EROS, the god of love, emerged from CHAOS.  URANUS, the sky, was born from GAIA.  URANUS and GAIA had twelve children, including TITANS, KRONUS, and RHEA.  KRONUS swallowed his infant children to protect himself, but his wife, RHEA, hid ZEUS and gave him a rock to eat instead.  ZEUS led the TITANS in a war against their father, URANUS and won.  PANDORA opened a jar she was forbidden to open, releasing evil, sorrow, and plague.  The jar contained hope, as well.  ZEUS chained PROMETHEUS to a rock in the Caucasus mountains to be tormented by an eagle.  PROMETHEUS  was freed by CHIRON the CENTAUR and HERCULES.”

The word PLANET originates from Greek and Roman mythology, each becoming the name of their gods and goddesses (in actuality, only names given to GOD’S created stars).

The Greeks thought the stars were the homes of bright spirits who had once lived on earth.  They often addressed the stars as if they were actual spirits.

The Greeks observed the sun, moon, and stars (which GOD created in Genesis chapter one).  They linked them to the earth regarding farming, weather, and ritual performance.  NASA uses Greek mythology and delves into its cultic enchantment.  Ancient Greek astronomy maintained that all things were ordered and maintained by their twelve Greek Gods.

ALMIGHTY GOD HAS THE LAST WORD:

“I am Almighty GOD, the only GOD.  Besides ME, there are no other GOD’S.”

IN CONCLUSION:

The insidious tentacles of demonic craftiness have seeped their way over centuries to malign and blasphemy the TRUTH of ALMIGHTY GOD’S Creation.  In his mercy, GOD has exposed these satanic lies and drawn us back to what is REAL.  May each of us who have taken the time to read this allow GOD to purge our spirit, soul, heart, and mind of all that has been programmed by this falsehood
