“It is for FREEDOM that I, Jesus Christ, have set you FREE. Stand firm then, and do not allow yourselves to be under the yoke of SLAVERY.”
Galatians 5:1
Infiltration:
Infiltration is a breach or infraction of a law as of a right or obligation. It is a violation or transgression. Harm to one’s right is an infringement. A violation of a statute is an infringement. It is a deliberate act to break one’s privacy. It is a violation of one’s right or privilege. It takes away one’s rights and limits their freedom.
“For I am full of words, and the spirit within me compels me; inside, I am like bottled-up wine, like new wineskins ready to burst. I must speak and find relief; I must open my lips. I will show no partiality to anyone, nor will I flatter any person.”
Job 32:18-22
The government or a person acting in a government capacity violates civil rights when it denies or infringes upon freedom of speech, the press, religion, or the right to peaceful protest. Civil rights violations also occur when law enforcement conducts surveillance, spying, illegal search and seizure, and acts of brutality.
Our civil, political, economic and social rights are violated through various means. Human rights abuse occurs when someone’s rights are denied. What matters is the harmful effect.
Privacy Breach
A privacy breach is the loss of control, compromised, and unauthorized disclosure or acquisition of personal data where a person other than the user can access it.
Code of Human Rights in Canada
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects every Canadian’s right to be treated equally and guarantees the freedom of expression, the press, assembly, and religion.
Espionage
It is the act of spying or using spies, agents, assets, intelligence, and technology to collect information through illegal covert means.
Freedom of Expression
We can express ourselves online and access information, opinions, and expressions from others, including political speech and religious views, opinions, and expressions, whether favourably received or not, without the threat of censorship.
It is illegal in Canada to record someone without their consent, as it violates their privacy rights. Article 184 of the Criminal Code of Canada states that it is unlawful to willfully intercept a private conversation by any means, including listening to, recording, or acquiring the communication. This activity is known as eavesdropping, and it is illegal in Canada.
Censorship and its effect on Freedom of Speech
Censors seek to limit freedom of thought and expression by restricting spoken words, printed material, symbolic messages, freedom of association, books, art, music, movies, religious beliefs, television programming, and internet platforms. When a government engages in censorship, personal freedoms are violated.
“I, Almighty God, your CREATOR, send you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. “Be on your guard against men; they will hand you over to the authorities to be punished. On my account, you will be brought before rulers. But when they arrest you, do not worry what you will say. At that time, I will give you my words to say. For it will not be you speaking but me speaking my words through you. Brother will betray brother to death and father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. All men will hate you because of me. When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. So do not be afraid of them. What they seek to conceal, I am all-seeing and aware of EVERYTHING.
Matthew 10:16-36
Censorship alienates people from the world and reduces their visibility. Censorship, the changing, suppression, or prohibition of speech and writing, occurs in all manifestations of authority, especially in relation to government and the rule of law. The freedom of the press is critical to a democracy wherein the government is accountable to the citizens. A free media, whether online or on the written page, is the WATCHDOG, which investigates and reports on governmental wrongdoing.
QUOTE:
“When decorum is repression, the only dignity free people have is to SPEAK OUT.”
There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe nor political nor popular but must take a stand for what is right—the truth.
QUOTE:
“To suppress free speech is a double wrong. It violates the rights of the hearer as well as those of the speaker.”
Censorship, the suppression of words, images, or ideas, happens whenever certain people succeed in imposing THEIR personal political or moral values. Censorship is carried out by the government as well as pressure from private groups.
Refer to my past article “Cyberspace” Sept 12/23
QUOTE:
“Censorship reflects society’s lack of confidence in itself. It is a hallmark of an authoritarian regime.”
“Whenever they burn books, they will also burn human beings.”
Refer to my past article “The Printing Press” Sept 16/23, those burned at the stake for “PRINTING” Truth.
Censorship and persecution go hand in hand. Silencing an idea is eventually viewed as insufficient, and the need for permanent destruction is carried out.
“To stop the truth from spreading, the religious leaders called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach about JESUS. But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey YOU rather than GOD. For we cannot help but speak about what we have seen and heard. After further threats, they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them because all the people were praising GOD. Again they called the apostles in and whipped them. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of JESUS and let them go. The apostles left the Sanhedrin rejoicing that they suffered and stood up for TRUTH. Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped speaking the TRUTH.”
Acts Chapters 4 & 5
Mobility Rights
Canada’s Charter of Rights guarantees an individual right to move around the country and earn a living wherever they may choose. Every citizen in Canada has the right to enter, remain in and leave Canada.
Conclusion
Thank you to all of you who took the time to read this article. Once again, God reminds us of those who have gone before us and chose to suffer persecution, censorship and death as they stood for TRUTH, paving the way for FREEDOM for generations to come. May each one of us in this present time heed God’s call to do LIKEWISE?
“I, Almighty GOD, deprive the corrupt leaders of the earth of their reason; I send them wandering through trackless wasteland. They grope in darkness with no light; I make them stagger about like drunkards.”
